Hiking with the kids

On our thankful list I put down "hiking with the family." We did make a good memory. But I should specify - it started out great. The kids were excited to find leaves, acorns, sticks, ferns that we pointed out, but then about 100 yards into our 1 1/2 mile hike they started complaining. We tried to keep their spirits up, but then halfway around the loop Nora pooped her pants and didn't want to walk anymore. I thought I had wet wipes, but Nat had taken them out of the backpack. - Nessa had fallen asleep in the stroller so we didn't want to pull her out of our single stroller, so Logan put stinky Nora on his shoulders. I was carrying Nina because she fell and was hurt soooo bad. (right) And Logan was pushing the stroller. We weren't walking very fast because we could only walk as fast as Nat's little legs could go. I think we were carrying all of them by the end, and next time we might just go for a short walk around the park instead of a hike in the bug infested woods.
